The Beginning

Cascade Electric was founded in 2022 by married couple Brock and Katie. For years Brock commuted to Seattle where he worked as both a journeyman and foreman. He enjoyed running jobs and managing teams so it quickly became clear that he wanted to step out on his own.

From the outset our goal has been to create lasting relationships in the community and build a reputation that speaks for itself. Anyone who has spent time around the construction industry knows there is a lot to be desired when it comes to quality, honesty, and etiquette. We want to elevate the standard and lead by example. Regardless of whether the customer wants to build a skyscraper or simply replace a light fixture at their grandmother's house - Every job matters, every customer is valued, and every home is treated with respect.

Growing a Business

Cascade Electric started as a modest venture with Brock and Katie aiming to fill a gap in reliable electrical services in Kittitas County. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction quickly earned them a stellar reputation, leading to an unexpected surge in demand. Suddenly, the small operation was growing at an exponential rate. Brock and Katie found themselves transitioning from electricians to business managers, navigating the complexities of scaling a company. They had to learn new skills rapidly—everything from finance and marketing to HR and strategic planning—skills unrelated to electrical work.

Amidst this whirlwind, an exciting opportunity came out of left field. Ryan and Michelle, intrigued by the buzz around Cascade Electric, wanted to learn more about this young company. Brock and Ryan had a history, having worked together in Seattle, and Ryan was keen on starting a new adventure that would allow him to reach his potential. After numerous conversations and careful deliberation, they recognized the potential in Cascade Electric and realized their opposite skillset complemented Brock and Katie’s perfectly. With Ryan and Michelle on board as partners, Cascade Electric would no longer be just a fast-growing company—it would become a well-rounded, robust business.
